Lyric description: A romantic and meditative lyric, reflecting on the freedom of being in love. "No end, but infinite new beginnings."
A minus melody edition is available for vocalists to sing with the rhythm section from this recording. For now we are making the lead sheet available in the recorded key of F. If you're looking for a vocal lead sheet in a different key that would be better for your vocal range, let us know and we will make one available. Email us at don@secondfloormusic.com.
When I played the instrumental for Rachel Gould, as part of my efforts to get lyrics written to songs in our catalog, she was so inspired by the music that she wrote a perfect lyric, reflecting the circling melody and harmonies and the philosophy."

For the intro, the two voices trade melody phrases in the first eight measures. The male voice then sets up the tempo with the bass line (with lyrics), accompanied only by piano. The vocal bass line continues under the first four measures of the melody (wordless with "doo" syllables), and the bass comes in on the fifth measure. The first four measures of the B section are arranged the same way.
Vocal ranges: Alto, E3 to C5
Tenor, E♭2 to D♭4
